Our Beautiful Beef 

Our beef comes from our own suckler herd based on Aberdeen Angus X Simmental cows; Aberdeen Angus for the quality of beef, and Simmental for the quantity of their milk which gives our calves a great start in life.  

Our two traditional beef bulls are pedigree Shorthorn and Limousin.

Over the summer our cows graze on our grass on the south facing slopes of Ballindean Farm. 

In the winter they are brought inside to straw courts and fed on our own homegrown hay, silage and barley.

We are members of the Quality Meat Scotland Assurance scheme for beef.
